Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview
Remindly offers monthly subscriptions billed per unit — a physical space where appointments take place, such as a treatment chair, consultation room, or exam table. This policy explains your rights regarding cancellations and refunds. We aim to be fair and transparent — if you are ever dissatisfied, please contact us first and we will do our best to resolve the issue.
2. Free trial
New workspaces receive 1 month free after creating a subscription. A valid payment method is required at sign-up. At the end of the free period, your subscription continues automatically at the selected plan rate. You may cancel at any time before the trial ends to avoid being charged.
3. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from the account settings page. Upon cancellation:
- Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
- You will not be charged for the following billing period.
- Access to the Service will continue until the end of the paid period.
- Your data will be retained for 30 days after the subscription ends, then permanently deleted.
We do not charge early-termination fees. Cancellation is always free.
4. Refunds
4.1 Billing errors
If you believe you have been charged in error (e.g. charged after cancellation, or charged an incorrect amount), contact us immediately. We will investigate and issue a full refund if the charge was erroneous, regardless of when the error occurred.
4.2 Plan downgrades
Plan downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing period. You will continue to have access to your current plan features until the end of the paid period. No refund or credit is issued for the remaining days on the higher-tier plan.
4.3 Partial periods
Monthly subscriptions are charged in full at the start of each billing cycle. We do not issue pro-rata refunds for unused days within a billing period, except in the case of billing errors or at our sole discretion.
4.4 Termination for cause
If your account is terminated due to a violation of our Terms of Service, no refund will be issued.
5. Service outages
If the Service experiences significant unplanned downtime (more than 24 cumulative hours in a single billing period), you may request a pro-rata service credit equal to the affected period. Credits are applied to the next billing cycle and are not paid as cash.

7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time. Changes will be communicated via email and will take effect 14 days after notification. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance.
